Dr. Adrian M. Rossi, founder and CEO of ARC, is an experienced, ITIL V3 Certified, TOGAF 9 Certified, Enterprise, Business and Solutions Architect, Consultant and Trainer with Top Secret and Secret Canadian Security Clearance and over 25 years of IT industry experience in software development, architecture, design, strategy and real-world project experience and over 15 years experience as a corporate and academic instructor, trainer and consultant.

Dr Rossi has been an IBM contractor since 2003, and as an IBM Certified Instructor for WebSphere, Rational, EA, SOA and BPM he is able to provide expert advice on IBM technologies, methodologies and frameworks in this space. Dr Rossi can help your organization with practical guidance and strategic direction on the use of EA, SOA and BPM methodologies, techniques, processes, standards and best practices, using leading-edge tooling vendors such as IBM, Oracle, Sparx and Microsoft. With significant years of development experience working with these techniques and supporting products Dr Rossi has up-to-date practical experience that he can share with clients in order to help them avoid common pitfalls and increase their productivity.

Dr Rossi‚Äôs recent Government of Canada (GoC) roles involve working with stakeholders, including C and D-level executives (CIO, ADMs, DGs, Directors and subject matter experts), to assist them in defining a holistic view of the organization's architectural strategy, business processes, information architecture, and information technology assets. This analysis is followed by recommendations on how best to ensure that the business and IT are aligned. 

Using industry-leading frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF and LEAD, Dr Rossi helps organizations develop contextual models that link the business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to its services, information and IT strategy, and document this using multiple architectural models or views, from various key viewpoints, that show how the current and future needs of the organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. Dr Rossi further contributes to improving business, information, application and technology (BIAT) architectures with Agile, OOA&D, Enterprise Architecture and Design Patterns, SOA and BPM methodologies, techniques, processes, standards and best practices.

Dr. Rossi has over 25 years of progressively greater responsibility within the IT industry, servicing large commercial clients and government departments. He is a proven leader, leading teams of over 25 IT specialists, with superior problem solving skills, combined with sound business acumen. He has developed a thorough knowledge of the government and private sector marketplaces through his many years of providing services in the high tech industry to both. 

Dr. Rossi has proven results in mobilizing individuals and teams in all disciplines towards the achievement of common goals. His oral and written communication and presentation skills represent a key strength. He has a well-founded reputation for quality work and completion of projects on time and within budget. Dr Rossi has consistently been noted for his excellent leadership, communications, and contributions to his field throughout his career, and he has been awarded designations from professional organizations in recognition of results he has produced through the demonstrated use of his skills and abilities. For example, Dr Rossi has take an active role within working groups such as the Pan Canadian Standards and Requirements WG, lead by Treasury Board, and helped to develop capability models, value streams, and business architecture models for the GoC.

At a strategic level, Dr. Rossi  provides a wide range of senior leadership and technology consulting services based on a diverse public and private sector consulting background combined with broad experience in the information management and information technology domain over the past 25 years. His professional career has focused on corporate management, corporate services, IT strategy development, IT planning and IT systems architecture analysis and auditing including private sector, central agency, and multi-disciplinary projects in the fields of business analysis, business operations, information management, information technology,  business systems development, and KPI measurement, within small to very large business transformation projects.

Finally, Dr Rossi prides himself on being able to discuss highly technical topics with business users and stakeholders in non-technical, value-added terms, and is able to communicate effectively with staff of all levels, from the CEO to junior developers, in a friendly and professional style.

Dr Rossi is a Chartered IT Professional (CITP), a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng. from the Engineering Council of the United Kingdom) and a Fellow of the British Computer Society (FBCS).
